The Application Process
There are 4 stages to the application process:

Stage 1
Click on the Calendar tab and check grant
schedule deadlines. Then contact Gayla Brockman, Executive
Director, at 816.753.0606 to discuss and determine the
appropriateness and timing of your proposal and next steps.
Next
steps may
include a site visit
and/or follow up meetings.
Stage 2
Submit a draft proposal to Gayla prior to the deadline with a
program budget and an agency budget.
Stage 3
- Submit one copy of your final proposal on or before the grant
cycle deadline to Gayla Brockman, Menorah Legacy Foundation, One
Ward Parkway, Suite 115, Kansas City, MO 64112. Final proposals
must include the following:
- A one-page letter or executive summary that provides a
high level description of the project, requested amount,
target population, expected outcomes and contact information
- A maximum three-page project narrative that describes
the need for the project, requested amount, cost of project,
target population, service goals, interventions, expected
outcomes, appropriate measures of success and sustainability
plan
- Project budget
- Current list of Board of Directors
- 990 and audit report
- Current period financials - balance sheet and income
statement
- Copy of most recent IRS determination letter
indicating 501(c)(3) status
Stage 4
The Grants Committee will consider all proposals and present
recommendations at the next quarterly Menorah Legacy Foundation
board of directors meeting. Applicants will be notified of the
Board's decision the following day.
